Here are some testimonials from our readers after they read about our natural mole removal home remedies.

Tim from Berkeley, California writes: “PAINTED IODINE MAKES A MOLE OR SKIN TAG FALL OFF: I had just been checked for skin cancer at my HMO and was told that the blemishes on my skin were non-cancerous, so hving read all of the positive results with iodine, I decided to try it for myself. I ordered Lugol’s online and applied it to a “mole” (for lack of a more specific term) on my hand which had appeared a few years ago. I applied it once per day for about 3 weeks and it disappeared. After about 2 weeks the skin started to get a bit dry and flakey so after 3 weeks I stopped applying the iodine. About 1 week later the flakey skin flaked off to reveal the lack of any “mole”. I am going to try this again on a few more of these “moles” on other parts of my body. Thanks!”

Steve from Metairie, Louisiana writes: “I have had at least 10 moles removed by my dermatologist, and after they were burned off (they usually burn, or freeze them), It took about 2 weeks for the cuts to heal (depending on the depth of the cut). Then, once the skin was basically healed, a pink mark was left behind. After a while (usually a month or two), my color would return and blend in with the surrounding area. Some of the areas that my dermatologist cut left a hole in my skin, which has never filled in. So far, Iodine has removed moles from my skin, but never left any mole removal scars (depressions) in my skin.”

Donna (gem_of_blue[at]yahoo.com) from Dalton, GA writes: “I had been reading about Iodine and how it could get rid of different skin lesions, so I decided to give it a try on several Sebaceous Keratoses on my torso, several quite large. It has worked wonderfully. It took about 2 weeks for them to go away, and I applied it 2x a day most days. I put it on with a q-tip and let it dry before getting dressed. I sometimes scratched them lightly first with a emery nail file before applying the iodine. I use the Lugols, because I also take it by drops internally each day.”

Steve from Metairie, Louisiana writes: “Iodine worked to remove my moles. Make sure to gently scratch (softly) and then apply the iodine. I applied the iodine at least 3X’s a day.”

Darren from Walhalla, SC writes: “Iodine helped get rid of moles but left pink spots how do I make the pink spots heal faster or blend in with the skin?”

Shane Sunbury, Victoria, Australia writes: “Thank you everyone. Iodine worked brilliantly for removing my moles. The trick was to rub them with a pumice stone or scratch them with a needle before applying the iodine 2-3 times a day. Hey presto ! Mole gone in a week to 10 days. Once the moles turn hard you can stop applying the iodine. I also found apple cider vinegar worked as well, but must be careful not to over apply as it irritates the surrounding skin (only needed to apply this for 2-3 days to kill the mole. Thanks to this site for the information, I never thought it would be so easy.”

Diane Chesapeake, VA writes, “I use tincture of iodine (everyday) on skin ulcers which refuse to heal. Sometimes I apply iodine 2 to 3 times a day. I never miss a day when treating squamous cell carcinoma. The area being treated by the tincture of iodine often becomes very sensitive or itchy…don’t discontinue the iodine…keep applying iodine on the ulcer. The itchy skin will scab up…it’s just the healing process. Scrape off the skin if it again develops a white flaky patch or a brown scab…then, apply more iodine. Use the iodine for at least one to two months until the skin ulcer has completely disappeared. Then, use Retin-A cream to complete the skin rejuvenation process. Use Raw Organic Palm Fruit Oil along with the iodine to promote deep healing and also use Raw Organic Palm Fruit Oil along with sun block to prevent future skin damage. The ulcer patches have developed on my hands and lower arms. One skin damaged area shows my skin separating on crease lines on top of my wrist. The day after I applied the tincture of iodine to the separating skin, the crease lines showed signs of healing, as blood circulation appeared in the area. The areas I treat are all about the size of a quarter, which is larger than the freckle-sized spot. I figure the underlying skin damage takes in a larger area and it may only show up on the skin as a small freckle-sized spot. Last, everyone will ask you why you are using iodine on your skin…it’s orange…it’s sooo old fashioned. Don’t let the embarrassment of orangey skin stop your self-treatment…it beats having a doctor remove the cancer and leaving you with holes where the carcinoma or melanoma used to be. I use this treatment on all skin problems, to include possible melanoma. In addition to the topical treatment, I plan to add a daily dose of Lugol’s Iodine in my drinking water. I want to treat all cancers and other health problems from within. I have red hair and white skin with lots of freckles, and I am very sun sensitive. I have been terribly burned year after year while growing up in California. I am now 56 years old, and the skin cancer is just starting to appear. That’s why I feel it necessary to add the Lugol’s Iodine daily to my drinking water.”

Teresa, from Lowell, North Carolina writes, “I had a raised mole to come up on my face and several skin tags to appear under my arm. I was embarrassed by the mole on my face, but didn’t have the money to have it removed. Using a q-tip, I rubbed iodine on both the mole and skin tags at night before going to bed. Within 3 to 7 days the skin tag dried and fell off while the mole went away. I have shared this information with my sister who has removed several as well.”

Brenda, from Bear, DE writes, “Iodine is excellent for toenail fungus, ringworm, fever blisters, moles and skin tags, hangnails, etc. Just a few drops on a q-tip is all it takes. Use daily until the “boo-boo” is gone.”

One of the more successful natural home mole removal recipes would be using apple cider to removal moles.

Here are some comments from readers who have found apple cider to be useful in removing moles:

Emily from Saylorsburg, PA writes: “I’m new to this whole home remedy mole removal thing and was overjoyed when I immediately got results. I’m 13 years old with fair skin and am suffering from a small mole on my face. My family doesnt have all the money in the world and when the dermetologist said I would have to have plastic surgery to get it removed (and the price was a good $500-$600 bucks) I thought my mole would be with me forver. I’ve been on the Apple Cider Vinegar/Garlic (I alternate) for only a day but immediately I’ve noticed a difference. For one, the color (light brown) of the mole has nearly disappeared and the vinegar seems to be eating away at it. I was so exciting, if that happens in only a day what’ll happen in a week? <3 I feel like theres finally hope to get this awful thing off my face. But if you’re going to try this remedy be sure not to get it on any skin surrounding it or it will be red and swell. Other than that this has worked great! Thanks so much and for all you reading this. goodluck! -Emi!”

Sally from Sydney, Australia writes, “hi, I just bought some ‘double strength 8 % acidity’ ACV ( organic, with the mother) Is the double strength ok to drink? Do you only use half the amount you usually would? Do you add double the baking soda or double the water? Also, would all unpasturized organic acv have the mother, or should you look for the ones that say ‘contains the mother’? would it be ok to use non organic acv as general toner on face and body? as I can’t afford to do this with the organic stuff. Also : feedback- mole cure I used ‘normal strength’ acv for about 4 days on a mole, the mole turned into a scab and I forcably (gently) peeled it off The mole is gone, but (a small) scab formed where it was-I only did it less than a week ago, It is healing well, but looks like it may scar alittle, would letting the mole fall of by itself mabey stop it from scarring, or if you didnt peel it off would it re-attatch itself?

p.s. I got a bit of a rash from the band aid- switched to medical tape ( on a role) which is much better for my sensitive skin-I also stuck it to the back of my hand first-to absorb some of the glue. This is my favorite site online thanx -sorry for rambling on & on “

Tyler from Springfield, USA writes: “Apple Cider Vinegar (remedy): This thing did NOT work. I used it on a mole and it came off… yea… and it CAME BACK!!! The only thing worse than having a mole is removing it, having everyone say things like, “remember that ugly mole,” and than have it COME BACK!!! I need this thing gone!!! I’m young still, so I’m not open to many resources. When I found this stuff in the cabinet I was jumping for joy. I applied it like crazy, peeled of the mole, and it CAME BACK. Well, I have to be fair, it’s not exactly “Back” yet, but it left a same-size dark red mark that looks like its turning back into the mole. Please guys, this really means a lot to me. Other than this mole, I look really good. I LOVED my few weeks without it. All the girls were hitting on me and more people were hanging out with me. And now this? Come on seriously… please someone E-mail me with the solution to my problems… Sincerely, unlucky”

Lotta from New York writes: “I had a raised mole and one on my tummy that just did not look healthy. I have not been a big fan of doctors,(sorry all you doctors out there you are good to have around if one needs) but did not feel I needed one for this and what I have heard did not sound to appealing. Thought it got to be a better way. And then a came across this website just down my ally. So I read about the ACV could remove moles so I tried it. Took a little bit of cotton soaked it ACV and put a band aid over the moles. Did this twice a day, and within a week I would say it dried up turned black and fell off under was new pink skin. AMAZING! What else can you say!”

Chris from Greenville, SC writes: “I have been on the ACV diet for a month and a half.i have lost some weight. I also have had warts on both hands for about 3 years, and a mole on my arm. Both have totally disappeared!”

Amy from Richmond, VA writes, “I have very fair skin and have been plagued with moles most of my life. I have them all over my face and the rest of my body. The cost for getting them surgically removed is ridiculous and I decided to search the internet for ‘home cures.’ I tried ACV on a mole on my side and after about 4 days, it scabbed over and fell off. The only bad thing is that the ACV dripped off of the cotton ball and onto healthy skin, causing a reaction. I’ve started using the small, round band-aids and they are easier for spot treatment. All that is left of the mole on my side is a pink circle that will probably go away soon. I’m treating 5 more now. The 2 on my chest fell off after 3 days and I’m now trying one on my face (yikes!). I can’t wait for them all to heal! Thanks!”

David from Albemarle, NC writes, “My mom told me about it, I tried it on warts and skin tags, put it on a piece of cotton ball and soak it with ACV and put a band aid on it over night, refresh it in the morning and it will turn it dark. Give it a couple of days and it will disapear. Believe it or not.”

Bernie from Middleville Michigan writes, “I had a good size mole in the middle of my back, I would soak a piece of gauze in the ACV and put it directly on the mole, would cover it up with duct tape. Took about 2 weeks and the wart is gone, turned green and I peeled it off.”

Gabe from Vancouver writes, “I tried this remedy and it really worked. I soaked some cotton in it and placed it on my mole fixed with a band-aid. I changed the cotton twice a day and in three days the mole simply peeled off like a scab. I was very surprised that it work, because I’ve tried several other remedies and non have worked for me but this one. I am very pleased with the results and am confident that it will work for you to. Give it a shot.”

Annie from New York, USA writes: “I applied ACV to my mole for a couple of days. It shrink in size and seem to be working . Today I noticed that its scabbed and picked at it. On impulse I peeled it, revealing a dark spot underneath that looks it was going to turn into a mole or that this method didn’t remove my mole successfully. I was very disappointed. =(”

Here is what she said:

“My husband had a mole in the center of his forehead. It bothered him that he looked like a unicorn. So I remembered when I was a little girl that I used to hear my Grandma speak of different remedies, for different ailments. The one that I never really believed was the one about the horse hair to remove a mole. So one day my husband and I was out and about and seen a man on a horse. I asked him could I have a piece of his horse’s tail hair. He knew immediately what I wanted with it. My husband said he wouldn’t believe it until he seen it. So once we arrived home I tied the hair around the mole. Every morning after, I would awake before he would to see the results. 3 days later I noticed the mole and the hair was gone! I told my husband to pay extra attention to his face when he went to wash up. When he realized the mole was gone he was so excited.”
